Blood of the Dragon

Last night (as Li summed up here) we went to the night market.

I bought some keychains supposedly made out of dragon's tooth. And some dragon scales and chopped up dragon liver. Li kept on telling me that they were fake. So said the person who owns a dubious dragon fetus :-P

We sang karaoke. It was not as traumatic as I expected--probably because by that time I was mellowed out with beer. Li, did you drag me into a gay karaoke bar? I'm pretty sure some of the people groping my arse were men.

And because Li was being a bad friend I have to nurse a hangover this morning. :-(

To be my friend you just need to agree that kittens are way cuter than kneazles dragons are cool. And if you leave me pictures of cute kittens cool dragons, I'll put them up on my user profile.

Oh, and hello Granger. You can leave me pictures of Crookshanks I suppose. An olive branch and everything, right?

So I told Li that Ravenclaw Quidditch team was pathetic like a half-drowned kitten lost in the middle of Knockturn Alley.

This is, of course, true.

What's also true is that, of all the stupidest thing ever, the news that Potter's in China almost made me pick up drinking again. Almost.

Why the hell am I worried anyway? It's not like China's the size of London. I'm sure I wouldn't see hair or hide of him until this assignment is over.

...

Fuck this. I need to go out somewhere--do something--or I'll drive myself to distraction. I'll even go to a karaoke bar and I hate humiliating myself in public singing.

So here I am. With a blog. And nothing to say.

Li said I should write:

"Draco Malfoy. 20. Single. Have an unhealthy obsession on Hates Harry Potter. Friend of Su Li. Currently in China under duress."

Haha. Ha.

About the title of my blog: I saw jars of dried dragon's blood peddled in the night market. And it didn't cost an arm and a leg, to my eternal surprise. Li said it's because those cheap mixture is usually only 70% dragon's blood, and the rest is snake blood.

It's still only 5% of what it cost in Knockturn Alley. And I can't testify to the purity of those mixtures either.

I ended up buying several jars to try out some potions that I never brewed before.
